This is the website for a smart agriculture company called Blue River Technology.
Note: This is all based off of the desktop version. It’s technically responsive to mobile, but it’s a totally different experience.
It’s obviously the horizontal scroll on the homepage that stands out to me. It’s like a mix between a slideshow and an explainer video. It really allows for some natural storytelling to happen.
It’s not lost on my that the site of Blue River flows like a river!
The motion is a little bit too much for me. It really gets me when it zaps back into place if I went too far. I would like it better if it more easily locked into place where it wants me to stop.
Also, the mobile responsiveness could be done a little better.
