Background: I made a commitment to myself to always be building/improving something, and I’m going to document it to hold myself accountable.
The fun part about building a side project just for passion is that you can pivot whenever you want. And, no one can even judge you for it! (So stop with the judging…)
The Switcheroo
I’ve been working on Automate With Intent, and it started as tools specifically for digital marketers. You know, because I wanted these for tools myself. They were to reduce my reliance on LLMs (for environmental and financial reasons), and I had quite a few good ideas.
Well, the irony is that AI tools helped me code them so fast that I wanted to make tools for others, too.
The New Target Market
My new target audiences (also not set in stone) are small organizations and people who are tech reliant, but not necessarily tech savvy. They increasingly turn to AI tools to accomplish things for them, and it’s a win-win for me to help automate other tasks without using so much computing power.
This made me switch the whole concept from a tool for marketers to a tool for freelancers/small-business owners/job seekers/etc.
The Changes
I completely restructured the organization of the Tools page, so that you can also segment it by Category or by Task.
The exciting part is that it opens up a whole new set of problems to be solved, so there are tons of tools and workflows that can be added!
