I’ve been thinking about this question for a while now. Could I become a real-life superhero?

I don’t mean this in an actual way. I haven’t encountered any radioactive spiders, I’m not an alien, and I’m definitely not a billionaire.

But I’ve always found one thing a little unbelievable about most of those superheroes. They often have a low-paying day job, and they stay up all night fighting crime. Yet, we all the impossible spare time, they make and maintain an incredible costume/suit, and manage an awesome brand for themselves.

I know, I know. They’re not real. And their logo design skills should be far lower on the I-don’t-believe-it scale than their super-human abilities, but maybe it’s the one thing I can’t just let go.

I’m a busy guy, and I’ve never made a super suit. But, I have done a lot of problem solving that resulted in creating something from nothing.

The plan here is to spend my meager spare time designing a superhero. I’ll try to teach myself cool new abilities for the fun of it (even heroes need to upskill), and I’ll use design thinking principles to create background story, suit, gadgets, and more.

Who knows, I might even end up saving something.
